Acting as the “sensing unit,” the level transmitter converts the hydrostatic pressure generated by water depth into a standard 4–20 mA analog signal. Once transmitted to the 3S controller, the controller accurately interprets the current value, determines the level range, and automatically issues pump start or stop commands, achieving fully automated, unattended pump operation.

Compared with traditional mechanical float switches, the 4–20 mA signal offers stronger anti-interference capability and higher accuracy, effectively preventing false triggering caused by environmental disturbances and ensuring stable, reliable dual-pump operation.

    1: Add a jumper wire between the SIG1 terminal and COM terminal on the controller to establish the signal loop.

    2: Connect the positive terminal of the level transmitter to the “+” terminal of the 4–20 mA input, and the negative terminal to the “–” terminal.

    Important note: Always confirm correct polarity. Reversed polarity will trigger alarms, affect normal operation.

3. Smart Level Settings: Flexible Multi-Stage Control for Single or Dual Pumps

To meet different water supply demands, the 3S controller supports free switching between single-pump and dual-pump modes, with multiple configurable level thresholds for full-range operation.

    5.0 m Range

    4.5 m – Single pump stops

    0.5 m – Dual pumps start

    As the level changes, the controller automatically adjusts operation:

    At 0.5 m, both pumps start for rapid refilling

    At 3.0 m, one pump stops while the other continues

    At 4.5 m, the remaining pump stops

In environments with severe level fluctuations, a stilling tube or damping device can further improve measurement stability. For corrosive or impurity-laden media, selecting appropriate sensor materials will significantly extend service life.
