Q: Is there a single-phase one-control-two duplex motor controller for the 3S?

A: Yes, there is a controller available for controlling up to 4kW. The wiring terminals for a single pump controller have three positions in a single row; while the wiring terminals for a dual pump controller have four positions in two rows. When the water level is super high, the dual pump control panel will automatically start the second water pump.

Q: How does the 3S Control Panel For Single Phase Submersible Pump achieve automatic learning and setting of pump data?

A: After powering on and running the pump for at least 15 seconds, hold down the knob for 8 seconds. The controller will automatically set parameters for no-load and overload conditions. The controller automatically detects and reads the motor's rated working current. When the motor is running idle, the current generally decreases by 2-4A. The controller automatically sets the no-load value to 80% of the rated current (if using a generator or unstable voltage, the no-load value can be set lower, around 70%-65% of the actual current), and the overload value to 120% of the rated current (or greater than 30% of the operating current). In some cases where the motor's current doesn't change during dry run, a water level probe may be needed to detect low water levels. It is advisable to record the no-load current and normal working current after powering on to determine if the motor's current changes during low water conditions.
